Hello fishing enthusiasts!

One of our main goals for November/December was planning and organizing interviews with a local lure company to understand their process. After sending out multiple emails to a variety of companies, we have gotten a response from BKD lures (a local lure brand) and are in the process of finalizing the date to speak with a member of their team. In addition to the interview, we hope to get a tour of their setup whether it be virtual or in person, taking note of their supplies used, overall design inspiration, process, and business model. 

To follow up on our last blog post, we have purchased a fly tying kit to begin creating our own fly lures. This kit will provide us with the general supplies to start, while still allowing us to create our lures to our exact specifications and designs. As we create our lures, we will continue to document the process via video, photos, and our YouTube channel. 

Lastly, while we received one email from BKD, we still hope to interview other companies. Since we have sent multiple emails to different companies previously, we will soon be sending out follow up emails and messages to the companies that have not yet responded hoping to produce more responses.
